DESCRIPTION:Drop-off is from 1-1:30pm. If you can’t make it during that window\, you can drop off early or anytime after. \n\n\n\nDETAILS:– maximum of 32×32 stud base and 10″ tall (unless approved by Board member)– MUST be a CUSTOM Lego creation based on a book. (no sets)– You will either need to bring the book with you or check it out from the library for the display case. The goal is to get kids (and adults) excited about reading the books based on our Lego creations. If you can’t find the book and the library doesn’t have it\, you’re welcome to print off the book’s cover on 1/4 or 1/2 sheet of paper to put next to it.– It does not need to be only for children\, but it should be appropriate for all ages.

DESCRIPTION:Tulsa Botanical Gardens \n\n\n\nCome join us on an adventure through the Tulsa Botanical Gardens! They currently have a Lego display called\, “Nature Pops!” The artist\, Sean Kenney\, has sculptures and “paintings” throughout the Gardens. We will be discussing ideas on events we can host during the exhibit and beyond. \n\n\n\nCreate a botanical MOC for the meeting. We will group judge and award prizes for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd places! We will also do a tour of the exhibit.

Contact Adam Carr for more details \n\n\n\nWe are currently planning our next Community STEM Night to be held on April 30th at Dibble Middle School! Teachers\, students\, and parents are encouraged to come and enjoy a night of free food and fun\, interactive exhibits that highlight science\, technology\, engineering\, and math (STEM) concepts.Through voluntary funding from the oil and natural gas industry\, the OERB works to bring Community STEMNights to cities across Oklahoma. This event will showcase how STEM concepts are used in some of our state’s largest industries. The goal is to spark students’ interest and inspire the next generation of our workforce.
